Sheriff’s deputies are investigating the circumstances of how a child was struck by a vehicle in Santee Thursday afternoon.
The incident was reported around 4 p.m. in the 10800 block of Woodside Avenue, just east of Magnolia Avenue.
The child was transported to Rady’s Children’s Hospital, according to City News Service. The severity of the victim’s injuries is unclear.
