A small house in the City Heights area of San Diego went up in flames early Wednesday morning.
The fire at a home on 39th Street near Wightman Avenue was reported shortly before 7 a.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
The fire was quickly extinguished and no one was injured, fire officials said.
The cause of the early-morning blaze is under investigation by fire officials.
