Police are asking for the public’s help Saturday in locating a 70-year-old missing San Diego man with a form of amnesia.
Louis Yoe was last seen around 3:15 p.m. Friday when he left work, but police did not give a location for his job. Yoe was recently diagnosed with a medical condition known as “Global Transient Amnesia,” which causes a sudden, temporary episode of memory loss, the San Diego Police Department said.
His condition also causes Yoe to forget where he is or how he got there, police said. Attempts to track his cell phone and his vehicle have been unsuccessful.
Yoe is white and 5-feet, 10-inches tall, weighs about 190 pounds, with hazel eyes and white hair. He left work in his vehicle, a 2009 silver and black Smart Car with a California license plate of 6GIW700.
Anyone with information on Yoe’s whereabouts was asked to contact the San Diego Police Department at (619) 531-2000.
