Alcohol may have been a factor in a single-vehicle rollover crash in Ramona that killed the driver, the California Highway Patrol said Friday.
The 41-year-old driver, whose name was not immediately available, overcorrected after his 2006 Ford F-150 began drifting off westbound Highland Valley Road near Voorhes Lane and lost control of the pickup, which then overturned shortly after 7 p.m. Thursday, CHP Officer Kevin Pearlstein said.
The driver was ejected from the truck and died at the scene, he said.
