A 22-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured in the College Area Monday morning when he failed to negotiate a curve in the street, according to San Diego Police.
The man, whose name was not released, lost control of the Harley-Davidson while traveling southbound in the 5600 block of College Avenue shortly before 5 a.m., Officer Dino Delimitros said.
He hit a planter in the center divide, landed near the northbound lanes and was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries to his spinal cord and face. No one else was injured, Delimitros said.
