One of three burglars who broke into a vacant building in Logan Heights to gain entry to a medical marijuana dispensary next door was sentenced Wednesday to 180 days in jail.
Chayna McMillan, 30, pleaded guilty to felony burglary charges along with her husband, Darryl McMillan, and a third person, Eric Blackwell.
Officers sent to Organic Inhale on Imperial Avenue near 29th Street about 1:20 a.m. on Oct. 25 came upon two men loading marijuana into a gray sedan in an alley behind the business, with Chayna McMillan behind the wheel, police said.
A “significant” amount of marijuana was discovered in the car, and the three suspects were arrested, according to police.
Darryl McMillan, 45, and Eric Blackwell, 41, will be sentenced next month.
