Several known probation violators contacted by deputies in Vista Thursday were all found to be in compliance with the terms of their probation, sheriff’s officials reported.
“In an ongoing effort to reduce crime in the city of Vista and target prolific offenders, members from the Vista Community Oriented Policing & Problem Solving Team conducted 4th waiver probation searches and AB 109 compliance checks on known offenders,” Sgt. Glen Twyman said. “Those targeted were identified through crime and intelligence analysis as individuals most likely to re-offend.”
Deputies searched five homes between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and contacted four of the identified targets, but found no violations, according to Twyman.
