
An ambulance and a trolley collided Friday in downtown San Diego, causing delays during the morning commute.
A man who suffered minor injuries in the accident in the vicinity of Fourth Avenue and C Street shortly before 5:30 a.m. was taken to a hospital by a second ambulance, according to San Diego Police Officer Tony Martinez.
Martinez said the intersections of Fourth Avenue and B and C streets were blocked.
Delays were expected on Orange and Blue line trolleys, according to the Metropolitan Transit System.
