San Diego Police sought Friday a pair of carjackers who targeted a distracted driver in the Grantville area.
One of the suspects pulled the 23-year-old victim out of her silver 2006 Nissan Altima while she was texting and the other hopped behind the wheel in the 6500 block of Reflection Way shortly before 8 p.m. Thursday, San Diego police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
They sped away and were last seen exiting from nearby Friars Road onto northbound Interstate 15. The car has California license plate 7KDZ957, according to the officer.
Both suspects were described as black, 18 and 25 years old and wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts. One was roughly 5 feet 8 and 150 pounds, and the other was about 6 feet 1 and 170 pounds.
