A man who was attending a party in Spring Valley Saturday night was shot by a party crasher who had been asked to leave, according to authorities.
San Diego County Sheriff‘s deputies were called to the 800 block of Broadview Street, near Insdale Avenue, shortly after 1 a.m. Sunday where a 33-year-old man had been shot, according to Lt. Dave Schaller.
The victim was part of a group from the party, which had been following four party crashers to their car. One of the uninvited guests then shot him, the lieutenant said. He was taken by paramedics to a hospital and was expected to be OK, Schaller said. There was no description available of the party crashers or the car they were driving. The victim’s identity was not released by deputies.
