An unidentified woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances Thursday in a Bay Ho-area alley, authorities reported.
The body was discovered off the 1900 block of Morena Boulevard shortly before 1 p.m., according to the San Diego Police Department.
Patrol officers investigated, then called in homicide detectives to determine the nature of the fatality, Lt. Mike Holden said.
Officials did not immediately disclose why the death appeared suspicious.
