A man was shot in the leg in an Emerald Hills-area neighborhood late Thursday afternoon by his brother, who told police the shooting was an accident, police said.
The gunfire in the 700 block of Selma Place was reported shortly after 4 p.m., according to San Diego police.
Officers found the victim suffering from a non-life-threatening wound, Officer Robert Heims said. The man’s brother, who said the shooting was an accident, was detained for questioning, he said.
The men’s names were not released.
