A 52-year-old man was arrested in Mission Beach after allegedly pointing a gun at his girlfriend.
The victim called authorities about 1:45 p.m. Thursday to report the alleged crime, saying suspect Michael Davee had left the area in the 6400 block of La Jolla Boulevard, according to San Diego Police Department Officer Robert Heims.
“Officers responded to Davee’s home,” Heims said. “Davee ignored commands from police and went inside his house.”
A SWAT team was called in, but Davee was able to elude officers, Heims said.
“He was later taken into custody at Dana Resort” at 1710 W. Mission Bay Drive, the officer said.
