A motorcyclist was fatally injured on Sunday afternoon in a crash near the El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, police reported.
The victim, whose name has yet to be released, struck a vehicle that turned into his path on Vista Way near El Camino Real around 4:15 p.m. Sunday, Oceanside Police Lt. Matt Cole said.
The rider suffered significant injuries and later died in a hospital, Cole said.
The accident remains under investigation.
