A woman who mistook a small, injured bobcat for a domestic animal was bitten in Carmel Valley on Monday night but not seriously injured.
Police said the unidentified woman’s car struck the bobcat on El Camino Real near Half Mile Drive about 9 p.m. She got out of her car to help the animal and was bitten on her arm.
