A woman in a stolen car attempted to run a man down following an argument at a Talmadge-area bar early Wednesday, but succeeded only in taking out part of a wooden porch in front of the establishment.

The subject of the fight that apparently led to the attempted vehicular assault outside the Last Call on El Cajon Boulevard near 49th Street shortly after 2:30 a.m. was not immediately clear, but San Diego Police said the suspect and victim knew each other.

The suspect drove off after crashing through the porch, but was found about 90 minutes later in the 5100 block of Trojan Avenue either asleep or passed out in the stolen Toyota, San Diego police Officer Frank Cali said. She was then arrested.
