A woman was found dead under suspicious circumstances in an Allied Gardens apartment this afternoon.
The fatality at a residential complex in the 7600 block of Mission Gorge Road was reported about 1:15 p.m., according to San Diego police.
The cause of the unidentified woman’s death was not immediately apparent, Lt. Ray Valentin said.
A homicide team was called in to investigate.
