A 17-year-old boy was stabbed in a gang-related attack in the Grant Hill neighborhood, police said Thursday.
The two assailants issued a gang challenge to the teen while he was while walking alongside 28th Street near Island Avenue about 8:10 p.m. Wednesday, according to San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros.
One of the suspects pulled a knife and stabbed the victim once in his buttocks, Delimetros said.
A detailed description of the suspects was not immediately available, but Delimitros said they were wearing shorts and had backpacks.
Delimitros said the victim’s wound was not considered life-threatening.
