A Fallbrook man who went missing this week has turned up in a Los Angeles-area hospital, authorities reported Friday.
John Macintyre, 41, was reported missing Monday by his sister, who feared he might be suicidal, according to San Diego County sheriff’s officials. His cellphone had been turned off, Detective Lisa Jenkins said.
On Thursday, officials got word that Macintyre had checked in to a hospital in the Mission Hills area of the San Fernando Valley.
“No information is available at this time regarding (his) physical condition,” Jenkins said late this morning. “However, he is receiving medical care.”
