Three motorists were arrested on suspicion of drunken driving during a DUI Saturation Patrol overnight Friday in Chula Vista.
Also, 36 citations were issued to drivers and five vehicles were towed during the saturation patrol that began at 7 p.m. Friday and ended today at 3 a.m., the Chula Vista Police Department reported.
During the operation, 54 traffic stops were conducted for unsafe speed, red light violations, stop sign violations and several other vehicle code violations.
