A man was stabbed Sunday in the Bay Park neighborhood, according to police.

One witness was driving on the 4100 block of Clairemont Drive shortly after midnight and saw the victim, a 23-year-old male, who had been stabbed in the arm, said officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department. The victim did not tell police what happened, but a witness said she saw a man or boy stab the man and then walk away, Heims said.

The suspect is described as Hispanic, 5 feet-7 inches tall with short hair, and he was wearing a black sweatshirt, jeans and a beanie-type hat. Heims said the victim was treated for non-fatal injuries.
