San Diego police are searching for a gun-wielding bicyclist who held up a Burger King Sunday night in the Mt. Hope neighborhood.
The unidentified man rode a black beach cruiser-style bicycle up to the fast food eatery on Market Street near 36th Street around 8:30 p.m., went inside, pulled a gun and demanded cash, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
Employees handed over an undisclosed amount and the suspect rode off, according to the officer.
Police described the robber as Hispanic, 25 to 30 years old, roughly 5 feet 8 and clean shaven. He was wearing a black hat, a black sweater and khaki pants.
