NBC newsmagazine show, “Dateline,” will focus on the Carlsbad murder that left a school teacher dead.
The show, which airs Sunday, highlights the life of Jason and Julie Harper who once lived in a gated community in the seaside city with their three children.
After an argument in 2012, Julie Harper shot her husband, while her children were watching, testimony revealed.
Julie Harper was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison earlier this month.
