One person was killed on Saturday evening when a vehicle struck a bicycle in Spring Valley.
The crash was reported at 6:07 p.m. on southbound Jamacha Boulevard near San Miguel Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It was unclear if the victim died at the scene or was taken to a hospital and the person’s age and gender were not immediately available.
The accident remains under investigation by the highway patrol and local law enforcement authorities.
