Police on Saturday were investigating an early morning burglary that left a man beaten and tied up in his home in the 4000 block of 38th Street. The incident occurred about 2 a.m., San Diego police Officer Frank Cali said.
“The owner of the home was tied up while the home was burglarized,” Cali said. “The owner knew the burglar, and had invited that person into the house. The person apparently had been living there previously. An argument ensued, and the victim got assaulted and tied up before the home was burglarized.”
Cali said police were seeking a suspect who was identified as a white male, 18-to-20 years old.
