An argument over repairs to a truck part in Otay Mesa ended up with a mechanic getting run over by a car Thursday driven by his customer, suffering a broken leg, police said.
The dispute took place about 3:15 p.m. at 8649 Avenida De La Fuente, San Diego Police Officer Robert Heims said.
A 41-year-old man got into his car and drove over the 35-year-old victim, who suffered a compound fracture to a leg bone. His injury was not life-threatening, Heims said.
The driver was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to Heims.
