A man fell off Sunset Cliffs to his death on Friday afternoon, the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department reported.
The victim apparently was distracted by an electronic device when he fell, according to NBC7.
The fatal fall happened about 4:50 p.m. in the 900 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard, fire-rescue spokesman Lee Swanson said.
Local lifeguards gave the unidentified man CPR, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, Swanson said.
The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
