A group of teenage boys suspected of groping two female pedestrians near San Diego State University were taken into custody on Tuesday.
The four youths accosted the women separately — the first around 4:30 p.m. Monday, and the second shortly before 3 p.m. Tuesday — as the victims walked along a temporary sidewalk on the east side of a construction area in the 5100 block of College Avenue, according to SDSU Police.
In each case, one or more of the boys grabbed the woman’s buttocks as she pushed past them.
Following the latest assault, campus police officers located the alleged perpetrators, took them into custody and turned them over to San Diego police for questioning, officials said.
The suspects’ names were not immediately available.
