The FBI Violent Crimes Task Force is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in three supermarket bank branch robberies who authorities have nicknamed the “Hipster Bandit.”

The man is a suspect in bank robberies dating back to July. The latest occurred on Monday at the Wells Fargo branch in a Vons grocery store at 10675 Scripps Poway Parkway in San Diego.

In the latest robbery the suspect presented a note demanding cash in specific denominations. After receiving the money from a bank employee, the man walked out of the grocery store.

The other robberies were of a U.S. Bank branch inside the Albertsons grocery store at 1133 South Mission Road in Fallbrook on Sept. 25, and another U.S. Bank branch inside the Albertsons at 8920 Fletcher Parkway in La Mesa on July 2.

No injuries were reported at any of the robberies.
