Four people were injured when a car crashed into a tree along an Oceanside roadway Thursday night.

The crash on Mesa Drive, between El Camino Real and Rancho Del Oro Drive, was reported shortly before 8:30 p.m., according to Oceanside Police and fire officials.

One vehicle occupant was airlifted to Palomar Medical Center following the crash. The three others were taken to area hospitals via ambulance, a fire dispatcher said.

None of the injuries were believed to be life-threatening, authorities said.
