Police called on the public on Sunday to help find a missing 87-year-old San Diego man who has dementia. Joseph Tausch was last seen at his home about 9:30 a.m. in the 600 block of Westbourne Street. Authorities said Tausch drove away in his white 2000 Toyota Camry. The car’s license plate number is DP932GF.
Police believe Tausch may have driven to Serra Mesa, where he used to live and where he attended church. Tausch has dementia and may become easily lost, according to authorities.
Tausch is white, 5 feet 5 and about 150 pounds. He has brown eyes and gray hair. Anyone with information on Tausch’s whereabouts is asked to call police at (619) 531-2000.
