A motorcyclist who crashed and broke a leg while attempting to perform a stunt near a shopping center in the Egger Highlands was recovering Tuesday, a San Diego Police officer said.
The rider lost control of his Yamaha motorcycle on Saturn Boulevard near Boundary Street around 5:15 p.m. Monday. San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said the motorcyclist was trying to hit the brakes in such a way that the bike popped up onto its front wheel while moving.
The motorcyclist, who is in his 20s, was treated for serious injuries, according to the officer.
His name was withheld.
