San Diego Police are searching for three people who beat and stabbed a 24-year-old man in Linda Vista.
Two men and a woman attacked the victim, a gang member, in the 7100 block of Hyatt Street near Genesee Avenue shortly after 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, Officer Dino Delimitros said.
The victim was beaten with a baseball bat and stabbed twice in the torso and once in the head. He was taken to a hospital to be treated for a broken jaw, stab wounds and several fractured bones, Delimitros said.
His wounds were not considered life-threatening, according to police.
No suspect descriptions were immediately available. Delimitros said the suspects fled the scene in a green Toyota minivan.
