A suspected drunk driver lost control of his car and hit two parked vehicles in San Marcos late Friday, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash occurred at 10:52 p.m., when the driver’s Nissan Altima skidded more than 200 feet in the 700 block of Vineyard Road.
The Altima then hit a vehicle parked on the curb, causing the Altima to barrel into the air and land in the parking lot of an apartment complex, where it damaged a parked SUV.
The driver, 28, was taken to Palomar Medical Center, said spokesman Agustin Rosas of the sheriff’s department. He was treated for minor injuries.
