A collision in the City Heights area Thursday left two motorists with minor injuries and a stretch of busy El Cajon Boulevard briefly closed.
Two vehicles crashed on El Cajon Boulevard at 46th Street just before 8:30 a.m., according to San Diego Police and the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department. One vehicle overturned and an occupant reportedly was trapped inside.
Two people were taken to a hospital, a fire-rescue department dispatcher said.
Neither was seriously injured, police said.
El Cajon Boulevard was closed in the area following the crash, but since has been reopened, police said.
