A woman pulled from a wrecked car in a canyon off a University City cul-de-sac is facing possible drunken driving charges Monday.
The car of the woman — said the be about 50 years old — was found just before midnight Sunday on its roof an estimated 90 feet from the 3200 block of Lahitte Court, San Diego Police Officer Dan Lasher said.
She was unconscious when she was pulled from the wreckage, Lasher said.
The woman was taken to a hospital to be treated. The driver was suspected of being under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash, Lasher said.
