A 22-year-old man was shot in the stomach as he walked home from a San Diego 7-Eleven convenience store, a police officer said Saturday.
The shooting occurred at 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 10400 block of Hebrides Circle, said San Diego police Officer Robert Heimes.
The victim heard two men say something to him but didn’t know what it was, Heimes said. “The victim turned around and heard at least two gunshots. The victim was shot in the stomach one time.”
The victim was transported to a hospital with non life-threatening wounds, the officer said. He was not cooperative and would not describe the suspects.
