A bloody machete and two injured victims were found after a fight in Vista Friday, San Diego County sheriff’s deputies said Saturday.
Deputies were alerted of a large fight in the parking lot of Mesa Garden East Apartments, 800 E. Bobier Dr., at 10:20 p.m.
Two victims with minor cuts, and a machete covered in blood, were found. A teenager, 16, had a cut on his back while the man had many cuts to his head and hands, deputies said.
It was not confirmed that they were cut by the axe.
Both were taken to the hospital to be treated for their minor injuries.
Details about the fight were not released, but deputies said there were two suspects, one known by name and the other unidentified.
The described suspect was said to be a Hispanic teenage boy with medium- brown hair and looked 15 to 16 years old.
