A 24-year-old motorcyclist was severely injured in a crash in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in southeast San Diego on Tuesday evening.
The northbound rider’s Yamaha motorcycle was struck by a turning a Lexus sedan at the intersection of South 47th Street and Magnus Way shortly before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, San Diego Police Officer Dino Delimitros said.
Delimitros said the motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in the collision.
It was not immediately clear if the sedan’s 26-year-old driver was cited. The accident remains under investigation.
