San Diego Police homicide detectives are investigating the death of a woman at a multi-million-dollar Point Loma-area home Thursday morning.
Officers were sent to the 700 block of Rosecrans Street near Bessemer Street in the affluent bayfront La Playa neighborhood shortly after 5 a.m., San Diego Police said.
The death initially was reported as a suicide, but later was deemed suspicious, prompting homicide detectives to launch an investigation, according to news reports. The woman’s body had upper body trauma, police told reporters.
A man at the scene was being questioned by police, NBC7 said.
