The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department Thursday renewed its call for help in the search for a 43-year-old woman who walked away from her Encinitas home more than two years ago.
Kimberly Jo Evans was last seen at her residence by her mother on the morning of April 30, 2013. Sheriff’s officials said at the time she left home that she had not been taking medication required for an undisclosed condition.
Evans took a suitcase and clothing but did not have a cell phone, according to a sheriff’s department statement. She did not have a car and was known to use public transportation.
Evans is white, 5 feet 6 and 110 pounds with reddish brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a green plaid shirt and green shorts.
