A National City man was robbed at knifepoint on his way home from a hospital early Monday
The suspect confronted the victim and demanded his property as he was was walking along South Euclid Avenue around 3:30 a.m., shortly after leaving nearby Paradise Valley Hospital, according to a National City Police statement.
It was not clear if the victim works at the medical center or had been a patient there.
The suspect, who fled into nearby Toyon Park, was described as white, between 40 and 50, and thin with gray hair. He was wearing a gray sweater.
