He may have only wanted to wash up, but he found himself locked up Friday instead.
A man allegedly broke into a Spring Valley apartment in the nude shortly after midnight, announcing to a surprised resident that he was there to take a shower, according to sheriff’s officials.
The renter responded by making a 911 call, detaining the naked intruder, later identified as 34-year-old Michael David Dolias, and holding him until deputies arrived, San Diego County Sheriff‘s Sgt. Matt Cook said.
Dolias, who allegedly forced entry to the Jamacha Road apartment by removing an air-conditioning unit on a first-floor balcony, was booked on suspicion of burglary. He was being held on $25,000 bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
“It is unknown if Dolias was under the influence of drugs or alcohol at the time of this incident,” the sergeant said.
