A 27-year-old paramedic who disappeared while hiking in the Cuyamaca Mountains near Pine Valley last weekend remained missing Thursday.
Isac Molina of El Cajon was last seen on Sunday, according to his family. His vehicle was found Tuesday afternoon.
Sheriff’s deputies combed the mountain area in search of Molina, but had to suspend their efforts Tuesday because of inclement weather, sheriff’s Lt. James Bolwerk said. The search resumed Wednesday.
Bolwerk said deputies were monitoring weather and wind conditions this morning before deciding whether to pick up the search again today.
Molina is Hispanic, 5 feet 9 and 180 pounds. Family members said he has two children, one of whom turned 2 since he went missing.
