A 20-year-old suspected drunken driver crashed into a Serra Mesa home early Tuesday, but no one was injured.
Alex Ian Dare was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving after his 2012 Hyundai crashed into the home at 2714 Greyling Drive around 12:45 a.m., according to San Diego Police public-affairs Officer Matt Tortorella.
Dare attempted to hug the homeowner and apologized profusely, according to broadcast reports.
The homeowner’s two children slept through the crash, NBC7 reported.
