A deputy was involved in a shooting in a residential North County neighborhood Friday, but it was not immediately clear if anyone was injured, authorities said.
The gunfire the 2000 block of Shadytree Lane in Encinitas was reported about 10:15 a.m., according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department.
No one was transported to a hospital from the shooting scene, a NorthComm dispatcher said.
Details on what led to the shooting were not immediately available.
