An Oceanside Police officer seriously injured in an on-duty traffic accident is “recovering nicely,” police said Tuesday
Officer Martin Morabe’s motorcycle collided with another vehicle around 7:30 a.m. Monday while he was responding to an accident call at state Route 76 and Benet Road, according to Oceanside police Lt. Leonard Cosby.
Morabe, who was flown to an area hospital following the crash, is a 25- year veteran of the Oceanside Police Department, Cosby said.
