A person died in a multi-vehicle collision on Interstate 805 in Kearny Mesa early Saturday.
The accident occurred at 3:45 a.m. on the freeway’s northbound lanes, just south of the exit ramp to Balboa Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol online incident log.
The fatality was confirmed by a San Diego Fire-Rescue dispatcher, who said no one else had been hospitalized.
