A fire tore through a single-story home near Rancho Santa Fe Saturday night, but no injuries were reported.
The fire was reported at 8:36 p.m. on Date Lane near Lake Drive in the Del Dios Community, according to Rancho Santa Fe Fire Department Public Information Officer Julie Paber.
Crews were able to see the flames as they were en route to the fire, she said.
One person was able to evacuate safely, Paber said.
There was a report that another person was inside the residence but that was not immediately confirmed, she said.
Most of the fire was knocked down by 9:45 p.m., but crews continued to snuff out visible flames, Paber said.
