At least one person was stabbed and wounded during a brawl involving around 20 people outside a Spring Valley taco shop early Monday.

Deputies were called to break up the melee in the 9900 block of Campo Road at 3:11 a.m., according to San Diego County Sheriff‘s Lt. Jim Walker.

The extent of the stab wound was unclear, he said, adding that although there were initial reports of shots fired, no gunshot victims were found at the scene.

It was not immediately clear what prompted the violence and no one was in custody.
